  'The Family Slab' is the debut release from Australian-based record label and event production company
  SixBux. 
  
  With huge support from local label owner Dion Sharman (Disconekta Records), the EP is a compilation release, with tracks hand-picked by label owners and bass music lovers Leigh "Ruff Stuff" Swindells and Liam "Moista Cloista" Niko. With the intent of showcasing some of the amazing up and coming local talent soon to be released on SixBux.
  
  The Family Slab' kicks off with new kid on the block straight out of Coffs Harbour, Tumble - with the mischievous funky squelch monster that is 'Outta Tune'.
  
  Next up, Brisbane glitch hop heavyweights Blunt Instrument take us for a jump, bump and grind with 'Concrete Trampoline', After smashing the breaks charts on several digital download sites with previous releases these guys are a force to be reckoned with.
  
  The nomadic bass music veteran ShifteQ delivers a crunked out journey through a day in the life of Far North Queensland shenanigans with the quirky bass-slab that is Boomkal-i.
  
  Melbourne artist, DJ, and owner of Hopskotch Records, Lysdexic comes out swinging with the nasty distorted mess of ghettowonkstep for ya bass face that is 'Thylaminorex'. Or, as we were told, "call it denim lasagne.”
  
  And last but most definitely not least, another Melbournian producer known as Dubfonik bring us back to our roots with the timeless rub-a-dub dubsteppa, 'Squid Lips'.
